Prickly Situation
Thanks again to Maria for the great duck photos. Alien duck looks like he is right at home in that very odd landscape.
Wildlife
That is one teeny tiny horned toad! Or one monstrous alien duck. Hmmmm.
Thanks to Maria for the photo. We are impressed with the stealthiness needed to get the duck so close to the horned toad.

History Lesson and a Big Pond
While hanging out with the Meteorite Men at London Bridge this summer, Alien duck wasn't sure whether to be more impressed with the fact that someone managed to break down, transport and rebuild a bridge from England to the desert of Arizona or with the huge amount of water to swim in in the middle of the desert.
And, Action!
On location filming with the Meteorite Men. Crazy duck decided to take over direction of the scene, much to the amusement of the crew actually doing the work.
Good Company
Thanks to Maria for submitting this photo with meteorite aficionados Jim and Nate. If you watch Meteorite Men, (and you should) Nate was helping out Geoff and Steve in last night's episode.

Ahoy Matey!
Thanks, Tracey, for sending the very cool pirate Donal Duck. Love it! Duck Bob is a huge fan boy of Donald. :) Ohhh, to be that talented.

Job Change?
Alien duck has decided to learn a new trade. Apparently flying around the universe isn't as exciting as we are lead to believe in all those movies.

Holiday Cooking
We're wondering if we should be insulted by the hint that our holiday cooking is smelling up the house.

Oooooo, Pretty!
Reflective duck ponders the meaning of life as he watches the sun sink over the horizon while visiting Saguaro National Park.
Easily the most artistic Duck Bob Duck photo yet! Thank you Rachel of RS Thurston Photography for sending this one it. We love it!
Hot Duck!
Happy duck taking a break from sight seeing to cool off in the magic waterfall.
Thank you Rachel of RS Thurston Photography for sending us the photo.
Age Restrictions?
We at Duck Bob would think ages 14 + is still a little young for love duckies. But then we learned the legal wedding age for ducks is under a year. Hmmmmm.
Thanks to Christine for sending in this photo.

Not Gonna' Happen
Happy duck is wondering just how that whole thing is going to work. He had to ask for the kindness of strangers to open the door. Damn lack of hands. Thanks to Rachel of RS Thurston Photography for sending in this photo.
Ducks on a Road Trip
Ducks on a drive through Saguaro National Park wondering why that guy would want to ride a bike when it is so much more comfortable sitting on the dash. Thanks Rachel, famed photographer of RS Thurston Photography for sending them to us. Though as I understand it, she did not have blue crazy duck's owner's (conveniently Rachel's Mom as well) permission to photograph him. Good thing his face isn't visible. :)

Oooooo, Not So Scary.
It's certainly an interesting phenomena that scary things just don't look as intimidating when there's a rubber duck in the photo. Especially when the duck is residing on said scary thing's head. We'll have to come up with a good name for it.
Duck Bob Anti-fearitis. Yuck.
Duck Bob Ridiculousitis. Blah.
Hmmmmm
Duck Bob Anatidaephobia. Oh wait! That's not right. Sorry Gary.
Back to the drawing board.

Hard Rock
We at Duck Bob, actually have jobs that don't involve taking photos of ducks in odd locations. I know, Gasp! Though our real job is about as cool as it gets - we work at Aerolite Meteorites and get quite the few perks; like working with a fantastic friend, traveling the US for trade shows, going on location of the TV show Meteorite Men and meeting lots of people who share a unique interest - meteorites.
We recently finished a massive undertaking over at the Aerolite offices, which included considerable time and effort; a new website Meteorites.co and photographing and cataloging the Notkin Collection of meteorites. In celebration of finishing this monumental project, we thought we would take a duck photo -of the ducks hanging out on one of the most spectacular Canyon Diablo (Meteor Crater) meteorites we have ever had the honor to photograph.

Inconceivable Camouflage
Never thought we would see the day a yellow duckie would be camouflaged. Love the painter duck!
Thanks Chris for sending in the photo. When are we getting the next one?!?
Meteorite Men Season 3
In light of the airing of episode 3 of Meteorite Men season 3 tomorrow night. A bit of behind the scenes during filming this summer. Join them on Science Channel!
Return of the Ducks
We have been away from the Duck Bob site for a while now due to technical difficulties. We switched from Blogger to Wordpress and it all became a hot mess. We have finally switched back to our original and most favorite home, minus the ".blogspot" and couldn't be happier. Please stop by frequently as there will be new posts added often. We have quite a store of photos sent to us by you, our Gentle Readers. Have faith, they will be up here at some point. Keep those duck photos coming. WOOT!
